Halloween time is upon us!
Zo has been on a kick about couples costumes for a few years now. You’ve seen the Frankenstein getups. One year they were twin aliens. She loves this season as much as I do.
Let’s not forget, Zo’s so lucky that Zak is ready to go along. He let’s her pick the costumes, not that he has much to say at any time, and they run from there. He’s a quiet fella. You can see it in his eyes, how much he cares about her. That her joy fills his heart to the brim.
This year, I think the pair really captured the spirit of their relationship. Just adorable. It was pretty easy to piece together, besides. So here we go, I’m presenting Zo as Morticia. Or—ZoTicia.
I’ll see what I can do to get Zak in his Gomez get up. That said, these kids are hard to pin down for a session. Busy little bees. Which leads me to the fact that I have to watch Alex and Bear the most.
You remember that one year where Alex and Bear colluded to freak out the neighborhood kids? Well, that has become a whole thing. They have to keep one-upping themselves. This year, they’ve invested in a giant skeleton, and bear has been fitting it with motors. I cannot emphasize enough how dangerous I think this is, but Bear assures me they won’t leave the drive, and he’s gotten safety measures installed. No one will be harmed, just a lot of joyful Halloween screams.
Look at my face. I’m not at all stressed about this. My little crew scaring the crap out of the neighbor kids is just normal. I better check my insurance policy.
