Those rainy days of April have paid off in a bright green carpet of grass flecked with the pastel petals of the first flowers. The weather has turned warm enough to spend a good long time outside. Zo is excited and enjoying some sun as she lays in the spring grasses. It’s much better than soaked through in your wellies.
The sun and spring growth is going a long way to helping Zo’s fragile mood this season. However, Lady just received the first shot and #2 comes soon. Zo was especially worried. You see, Lady gets super sick when she catches a cold, and that meant COVID-19 could really harm her friend. No matter how much diligence, it’s around and Zo worried she’d catch it. Sleeping will go a lot easier knowing Lady isn’t going to get sick like that.
Now, she can focus on harassing the dog more by riding him around the yard. Bear is sure to protest. It seems the dog gets extra energy after these rides and Bear gets extra chewed in the end. Although, Lady has been putting him out reach since the wear has taken its toll. Still, that shaggy bottomed fiend is able to surf counters and whip him down now and then.
Here’s a quick shot of Zo in the yard the other day, after Lady’s shot appointment…
