It’s time again for another episode of Shagbottom Theater!
It was just a matter of time. Apparently, I am on a Disney run…but, these are some great plays, and they’re not just the property of Disney. They’ve got a history on the great white way. Our pretty traditional director is knockin em out of the park. He thought this one was timely, with the attacks on journalism and the need for the citizenry to resist. (You might remember this character being played by Christian Bale in the 1992 film version).
Is there a play you want to see him do? Let us know.
Jack Kelly: There’s a lot of people out there, and they ain’t just gonna go away. They got voices now and they’re goin’ to be listened to. Putting them in jail is not going to stop them. That’s the power of the press, Joe. So thanks for teaching me about it.
