From the Trailokya Trilogy Companion: Something Starting with a “O”

The Trailokya Trilogy Companion is a continuing online manuscript that illustrates and explains some of the details of the story, helping readers to keep things straight while they travel through the series. Readers can view this live companion book on Wattpad (either using the website or an app for their phone) absolutely free.

The companion is organized in alphabetical sections for convenience. In each section, the entries are organized like a dictionary along with original artwork and excerpts from the Trailokya Friday blog posts. In the coming weeks and months the blog will feature specific entries, to give you a taste of what is available in the companion.

Otzar(Guff).

The well of souls, a hollow in Mount Zion where the perpetual light descends and the atman from Nirvana of lower resonance collect; home of higher duta races, from virtues to cherubim.

The Well of Souls is a myth from the Abrahamic traditions. Legends says that when it is empty, the end of the world will come. In Trailokya, the well is located in the heart of Mount Zion. A fissure in the crest of the mountain allows the perpetual light to beam down into the recess, and on those rays ride the atman from Nirvana. This is the arrival point those who resonate below Jñanasattva and need the journey to rise. The will of the atman determines what comes next.

Droves of duta who have ascended to the ranks of virtues and dominions are employed to protect these fragile beings. It is their unique duty to collect and sort the crystals. Each are assessed for hazards and leanings, and then set upon a path appropriate for their needs. Should a crystal weigh too heavy, it will fall beyond the aid of these duta, and find its way to Jahannam.

The well is also a beautifully carved structure in which incarnating atman interface with their bio-vessels in Samsara. Over time, the interface rooms have become the preference of the most delicate cases, and those working as clandestine operatives of Zion. Many a cathedral spiral staircase resemble the niches rising to the fissure in the mountain. The closer they rise, the more guarded by the light. Thus, higher resonating individuals are preferred at the top, while lower are closer to the base of the recess. This is because the danger in incarnating into Samsara as a duta, and the attention one would attract from the shadowalkers, endangering other atman in the process. The stone of the well is a blue-white marble with pale gray veins, and is made haunting in the brilliant opal of the perpetual light.

Passage into these spaces is afforded to travelers, who are accompanied by guardians (personal guardians as well as Otzar Guardians), and a single companion to aid in the coupling of the atman with the bio-vessel. Security is as high in Otzar as it is at the king’s chambers. It is not only the presence of sensitive individuals that requires this but also the location of the present kapalanum. This font allows a viewer to witness current events in real-time. In the wrong hands it would be a powerful spy tool.

The room in which the kapalanum is housed is also the launch point for direct interfaces. Guardians carry atman through the multiple arches and place them in the intended bio-vessels. As you can tell, this type of interface can be quite dangerous. The risks to the atman are greatly raised.

Elysion.

The southern pole island continent of Zion.

The Trailokya Trilogy is full of lush settings, not least of these is the wild province of Elysion. Readers likely recognize the name from Greek mythology. Often called Elysium or Elysian Fields, the location manifests throughout many cultures. Each incarnation has a uniqueness, but what remains is that Elysion is one of the levels of heaven and thus a paradise.

In Zion, Elysion is an island that lies beyond it’s three sisters, creating a continent at the southern point of the realm. It’s surrounded by a wide swath of the Urva Sea, across from which exists Eden. Elysion’s distance from the rest of Zion, it’s placement at the south cap, marks this a wild place. The khajala is weakest in this area, as it is the furthest place from the perpetual light. Many inhabitants of Zion avoid this wilderness, fearing it is an open door to shadowalkers.

Due to the vulnerability, Elysion has become home to a few rugged duta, one of which is the notable Primus Gediel. The territory is perfect for raising and training the canids assigned to him. Aside from these rough figures, Elsyion also boasts the largest population of wildlife in Zion. These atman attracted by the freedom afforded them, as well as the absence of the more dominant species. Their evolution is free to follow its own path without interference. Indeed, the thinness of the khajala can and does lead to the loss of some of these souls. The higher resonances believe that this is a key exercise for the souls, a difficult trial that makes them stronger against the shadows if they survive the ordeal. Not every soul will endure such a path, but it is common enough to mention. The ordeal, has the added benefit of often healing an fissures an atman may contain. If these are not healed, then the soul will burn down, and either travel the longest and darkest path or be destroyed in Oblivion.

The landscape of Elysion is as varied as the one can imagine. The beaches extend into the warmth of Zion, and boast a tropical feel. The interior becomes heavily forested, dotted by lakes and prairies, as well as many tributaries. The land rises into a mountain range and then a steppe. The central most area of the continent is a frozen dessert.

The rivers and streams hold a mystical power. The thinness of the khajala is not just a possible gateway for shadowalkers. The reason that is possible at all is that this thinness allows the Astral universe to brush close. It leaks into the waters. It touches the trees and the soil. Things real and unreal happen. But, most importantly, the tributaries lend themselves to being shared gateways between the worlds. If a being can access the Astral, they can theoretically access anywhere. Outside of Samsara, which limits beings via the bio interface machine, this is quite powerful.

Trailokya.

The term used to describe the intertwined worlds of Zion, Samsara, and Jahannam.

The Trailokya Trilogy focuses mainly on the struggle between Humanity/Duta and two of the seven planes that make up the known multiverse. As the definition above states, Trailokya is the interdependence and interactivity that binds the universes of Zion, Samsara, and Jahannam in constant struggle.

“The world of Trailokya comes as it is. It’s limitless in scope really, as any dreamscape is. However, it is attached to our universe, our Earth, and the spaces we occupy in waking life are limited by the rules of physics and other scientific concepts. Trailokya is a very specific term which describes the three worlds that interact heavily in the manuscript: Zion, Samsara and Jahannam. These words should be quite familiar to the average person. Zion is another word for heaven, but in the book it is the homeworld, where we all are created and visit Samsara, the universe in which Earth resides. Jahannam is an Islamic word for hell. This is the prison realm where those who have committed egregious crimes against Zion and the entities living there are put, to keep the rest of the universes safe from them. It is not fool-proof, like any other prison. It was not created by a god, but ordered into being and created by his emissaries. The myths of Judeo-Christian and Islamic faith have quite a showing in Trailokya, right beside Hindu (Lord Ganesha, overseer of the Great Council), Buddhist (Trailokya, Samsara) and the ancient faiths of the ancient world, such as Greco-Roman (Jahannam’s provinces, Duta leaders, Arcadia) and Egyptian (Order of Horus).” (Trailokya Trilogy Inspired by Life, Mythology and Dreams.)

“Trailokya is the title of the book and also the term used to describe the interaction between three very specific planes in the order of the seven universes. These are the most familiar places in the books, having layers of their own places within. Maps of the three worlds will not be discussed here, as not to cause confusion. This is simply an introduction to what each universe is, and where it falls on the grid. You may picture them like a seven layer sandwich, or even like the coatings of a jawbreaker…

The fifth plane exists quite low on the levels despite being the playground of almost every being in Zion. This is the training ground, the proving world. In Samsara, Atman take on physical form. Duta rarely inhabit this world since the Conflict of Hosts (a war between two factions which led to making the next level a prison in which to make them reflect upon their crimes). If a duta is here, they’ve usually lost their way for one reason or another and are sentenced to live out the equivalent of several lifetimes for reflection on their trespasses. The races that one usually encounters in Samsara (which is also the mid-plane of Trailokya) are: Aghartians, Cetians, Grails, Hyadeans, Ikyls, Oreiades, Nagas, Orions, Vetehinen, Drago, Els, Jinn, Boarwellum, Naiades, Aurai, Terrans (humans), and all other ‘souls’ both plant and animal which make up the lower resonance beings but are not of Jahannam. Samsara, is the plane in which you find Earth.

Jahannam

The Sixth realm is a sinister world which was remembered in the Koran as hell by the prophet. The definition is probably the best to describe Jahannam. This is a dark realm, quite removed from the light of the higher planes. Here, the Jñanasattva imprisoned the duta who committed crimes against the Samsaran souls, murder, rape, and the list goes on. Once charged with the oversight of the fifth plane, these beings became known as danava—the devils or Satan in Judeo-Christian lore. Ruled by princes, fallen Seraphim, this broken plane shelters the lowest of all atman. Here, an atman will be fed upon or do the feeding. Very few return from a sentence in this prison and it takes egregious crimes to be placed here.

Zion

The second realm, plane, kingdom or world is called Zion, after the Judeo-Christian term for Heaven. This is the home (accepted origination point) of all the beings who populate the other six realms outside of Nirvana. From the perpetual light, all atman who are not developed enough to remain in Nirvana fall to this plane to strengthen their energies and eventually rise – evolve into Jñanasattva. Zion reflects many of the concepts and order that is seen on Earth and other planets in Samsara (below). It’s the first layer of Trailokya, the tri-world. Here, duta regulate and oversee the ascendancy of atman. They’re guided by a king, as previously mentioned, who governs through the High Council on Mount Zion. Mount Zion is literally a mountain fortress built around the Perpetual Light. Here the highest officials and highest ascended beings reside. The highest of those serve on the High Council, deciding the fate of millions.” (The Seven Planes A Primer.)

Subsequent installments of Trailokya will likely focus on other areas of Samsara (other planets), as this realm is the most diverse and divergent of all the planes.

Fenrir, Order of. The Order of Fenrir is probably one of the most reclusive orders, and therefore mysterious, in all of Zion. The seclusion of the order, at the base of Odin’s snowy mountain, lends to that secrecy. Fenrirs pride themselves on their near automatic status as watchers. Many of the order members spend their time perfecting their clandestine skills. They enjoy the company of their membership, but tend to keep clear of other orders. A reputation for being prickly and secretive has thus arisen around them.

The Order is marked by dark leather armor. The penannular is is a six pointed star made by two triangle, one red (front/down) and yellow (back/up). The rank of the member is signified by a rune on the red triangle. The triangles are pinched to activate the device. Unlike many penannulars, the star covers the nano tech which is the black field behind and doesn’t dissipate while in use.

Other than being some of the most gifted watchers in Zion, the Fenrir order are additionally gifted with canids. Every family and group boasts a pack of some canine species, trained by their premier trainer. That trainer has taken to living in the wilds of Elysion away from the order commune with his many packs. Primus Gediel is the most mysterious of all Fenrirs. Their lead watcher and trainer, he is a descendant of the fallen Prince Gediel. Some in Zion feel that this branch of Fenrir is cursed and will betray the king. They proceed with them under the utmost care. The elders of the clan have taken to remaining inside the borders of Zion in order to dissipate this suspicion but after generations of doing so, the fear and distrust for them has remained. However, Primus Gediel has the favor of many top officials who enjoy working with him, and trust him with the direst of missions in Jahannam. He has yet to fail them in any mission, and has not displayed the symptoms of burning. Those supporting the Fenrir clan do not believe they ever will, and that Prince Gediel was the only broken atman among them.

The allure of Fenrir makes them the rock stars of the Zion orders. The bravest of the Ordo Priori students hope to be selected by the wolves, who come to claim their new members upon initiations. It is a spectacular sight to behold when Fenrir and his packs descend on the school, chillingly majestic.
