If you’ve been following the blog, then you now I love my dog. Sadie Sue Shagbottom even has her own place here. She’s the heart of my heart. So, when this article wended by, I was like…oh, good! Finally, something that will put to rest the “Get Hot Water! Get the Disinfectant!” Lucy from Peanuts screams from the dogs are icky crowd. Color me impressed. Working with a golden retriever/lab mix (I still say shes actually golden/American fox hound), has taught me that dogs are truly unstoppable. My Jack Russell who suffered from a deformity of the brain, rest his soul, was also quite talented. I never quite understood why anyone considers animals, let alone dogs, dumb. Once you read this article, you’ll find out that the uniqueness of this bus riding Labrador isn’t so unique. She’s one of many dogs who have taken to using public transport world wide. So take that “animals are soulless automatons” crowd.

Sadie Sue Shagbottom Celebrates Her 5th Birthday

Star of Shagbottom Theater, Sadie Sue Shagbottom, celebrated her 5th Birthday on January 10. She had chicken and fries for supper, a piece of vanilla cake and got three new toys! She thinks the hedgehog is scary and isn’t clear on the plastic meat looking thing, but that bacon tasting chew bone is going to be the best ever.
