This is a follow up article to the one I posted on Friday. I think it’s important to address men’s issues with gender equality head on, especially using the voice of men to do so. It prevents a shutdown of talks, so to speak, but it also involves them in a movement that is meant to involve them. Feminism is for every gender and is a movement for equality. Let’s not forget that as we forge forward. The act of rape is not bias to women or the LGBTQ community. Men are raped too, though incidences of this are much lower–or maybe it’s just that men are too scared to report the assault, a result of patriarchy.
