What are your favorite Christmas songs?
This is both a difficult and easy question. I like pretty much all Christmas Songs. That said, DO NOT PLAY ME THAT GOD AWFUL MARIAH CAREY SONG. Don’t even talk about it. It’s like every Basic B****es favorite Christmas song and I want to strangle someone every time it plays. (I hope you can hear my laughter from here as I say this with an SNL over the top delivery.)
So what do I like–I adore the Frank Sinatra Christmas Album Jolly Holiday with Frank Sinatra.
My favorite song is Carol of The Bells by Bird and the Bee. You can definitely sense my 1960s European love in this one…
Following that, I absolutely adore the Rankin Bass Christmas Specials. I grew up on them and they pretty much mean the world to me. So anything from those is game on. I also love Mickey’s Christmas Carol and I have a Disney Christmas album that I play.
I have a huge collection of music and my Christmas play list is no different. Snoopy and the Red Baron, O Tannebaum should not be forgotten…
I would love to share more, but I don’t want to keep you from the others…Okay. One more. This again reveals my Celtic/Euro roots…
You know, it’s so weird but the last time I introduced Tracy Krimmer, the question was about music then too. Take a look at her work below and then go over and check out the Christmas Music tastes of some other authors…
Tracy’s love of writing began at nine years old. She wrote stories about aliens at school, machines that did homework for you, and penguins. Now she pens books and short stories about romance. She loves to read a great book, whether it be romance or science fiction, or any genre in between, or pop popcorn and catch up on her favorite TV shows or movies. She’s been known to crush a candy or two as well. Her first romance novel, Pieces of it All, released in May 2014 followed in December with Caching In, a romance mixed with the hobby of geocaching. She also has written several short stories. Her newest release is Jay Walking, a modern romance about a single mom fighting to get fit and build a good life, who stumbles into love.
