Do you do podcasts? Either as the host or as a guest? How do you prepare for them?

I haven’t delved into podcasting. Running all of my social media pages, this site, and my YouTube has been overwhelming with a full-time job and motherhood. I can’t imagine adding this to the mix. There’s would be sound-mixing and a bunch of other things to do. For example, getting the right microphone (can be costly), and having a quiet space.
In the past, I have taken part in radio and been a guest on other blogs. I’ve done live events both in person and online. I think it would be fun to take part in a podcast and am not at all opposed to being a guest (know anyone?). Listening to these is a great way to keep from getting bored at work when you have those long days of monotonous tasks.
On my list of favorites is [REDACTED] History by my TikTok friend Andre White. Not only does Andre have a great voice for voice work platforms, he’s an excellent host. He knows his stuff and really brings the information to you in a way that you hardly realize you’re learning. It’s been fabulous to follow this podcast! I can’t say enough good about it. It’s probably one of the most important podcasts out there, because it teaches the history omitted to ensure indoctrination into a nationalist ideology.
Podcasting is a great resource for a whole slew of topics. History isn’t the only one. You can probably guess by the topics I cover in my fiction that I like paranormal and true crime, as well. You’d be right! The list is as follows: The No Sleep Podcast, Morbid, and The Strange and Unusual Podcast.
Would you guess that I also follow Living the GOAT Life? That’s Cowboy Max, another friend on TikTok. Max is a goat rancher (among other awesome animals), and hosts the annual Pumpkin Patch in his area of New Mexico. The ranch is home to one great family and it’s a nice podcast to destress and comeback down from the hullabaloo of it all. In addition, I like to spend time on the lives at TikTok during the morning, watching the sunrise, seeing the animals, sipping coffee, and chatting with friends. It helps get my day started in such a positive way.
There are so many great podcasts out there, I doubt I could come up with an original enough podcast to add to them and have any kind of following. Coming up with ideas, too, would be difficult with so much on my plate. Maybe that will change someday–should Trailokya become popular among readers. Then, I would also have more time to do a podcast!
