As a screenwriter and film student, this question is straight up my alley. My life is movies and television! The binge watch is always on deck. So what is my go to?
If you can’t tell by the genres I write in, then let me talk about my top two shows to binge: Supernatural (2005) and M*A*S*H (1972)! I know. I know. I’ve been here before. I’ve added X-Files (1993) to the mix this year, too. In years past, I’ve revisited all of the Star Trek series. These have all inspired me in some form.

M*A*S*H is such a comfort to me. To explain, the show is one I grew up watching with my dad and often return to binge, especially when I’m down sick. Supernatural is fun and in my wheelhouse. I love to revisit this one when I’ve caught up on the newest episodes of other series and films I watch. To this day, I’m not tired of either.
Outside of that, I love to return to my favorite films. Star Wars is at the top of the list (along with its subsequent spin off series). A cavalcade of Disney classics and classic era films would come next. I’ve written a couple posts on specific favorites, which you can look at here. If you’re interested in classic film, you will find homages to my favorites via Shagbottom Theater.

Ah, M.A.S.H. Yes, I’ve watched many episodes. They still show them on Sky TV.
just absolutely adore that show. Such a comfort for me, oddly enough, with all the serious/hard hitting subjects.
I loved The X-Files, it was impossible to work out the point where truth ended and fiction began.
It’s so true! really great execution of story here.
M.A.S.H. The amazing mix of comedy and social commentary. It’s a classic.
