Are you as happy as I am about it being June? Let’s dive in! This year seems to be taking longer to pass than years in the recent past, which whipped by at a noticeably higher rate. You’d think with quarantines and other issues that have made it difficult to get out, that time would move more slowly. Alas, that is not at all the result. Just as busy as before, I am filling up my calendar to-do-list, and in need of more hours in the day!
Meanwhile, Zo is filling up her calendar with some fun and relaxation. One of her favorite pastimes is swimming. Accordingly, she’s upped her level and gotten certified in diving. You should see the way the wet suit fits her. She had it custom made via Etsy. The smallest zipper the seamstress could find draws a line straight down the middle. She even got tiny wing bud openings for our Duck’s delicate appendages. Fancy a dive?
Zo doesn’t find it difficult at all to swim, despite her tiny wings buds. As she says, it’s all in the flippers. Speaking of–did you see those cute little diving flippers? They’re the bluest of blues, almost impossible to discern from a pool liner if she uses them there.
The most astonishing thing is the small diving mask that Zo was able to obtain, with a working snorkel, too. I’ll never get over her ingenuity or luck. I don’t think Bear will either. He follows her to the swimming hole every time. Check it out…
