Welcome back to another Open Book Blog Hop! The authors included in this ongoing series wish to thank you for your reads. We appreciate, even more so, when you share our writings with your friends. Before you proceed, please look at this post about Argus to learn a bit more about him. Argus is an important character in the Trailokya series. A member of the Moon Order, this wolf enjoys the rank of Evocati, making him an officer and commander. That rank also makes him Callidora’s equal in Maiel’s squads. That means this earth tied soul is on par in skill with a duta! That’s pretty telling about him.

Did you read the article about him? I hope so, because otherwise, this list may make no sense at all. Argus could list many things. His intelligence isn’t limited by what humans think of his species. Raised by Maiel from a pup, this deadly soldier enjoys a special place in the captains heart and home. He is, sort of, her first child. They’ve been serving together for many centuries, but this doesn’t mean that Argus no longer knows how to have fun. Let’s start with a list of his favorite things in no particular order…

Argus’s Favorite Things:

1. Captain Maiel
2. The Earth’s Moon.
3. Rabbits
4. His wolf family, especially his mate.
5. Biting danava.
6. Chiron and Imnek (his parents).
7. Gediel
8. Swimming
9. The kids
10. Callidora and Zaajah.

Argus doesn’t think much about a bucket list, because there’s not much he hasn’t already done. Whatever is left, he has plenty of time to get to. That being said, there are some things that the evocati fears. Let’s take a look below.

What Argus Fears:

1. Being captive.
2. Losing Maiel.
3. Harm to the children.
4. Dominic.
5. Evolving.
6. Humans.
7. Losing his sense of smell.
8. A mission alone to Earth.
9. When Maiel forgets him because of the BIM.
10. Phoenix feathers.

You might wonder why a phoenix feather freaks this guy out, but I’m sure you’ll come to a conclusion if you know anything about phoenix. The list above is pretty self-explanatory. Even though Argus has a great deal of experience, he still fears the things that could bring him the most pain. It is because of his experience that he is aware of how bad those things can be. Did you find it striking that he fears human beings? This wolf doesn’t fear danava, but humanity brings him a great deal of anxiety.

Despite his strength and skill, his experience and years of service, Argus still loves to cut loose like a pup. If you read the series, you’ll get to know this canine a lot better. He’s a faithful companion and skilled warrior, who always has his commander’s back. You might even feel that these two are soul mates, and that sentiment is not at all wrong. There are many trinities weaving in and around Trailokya.
