Finally, April is here and with it the reprieve from frigid weather. It’s not exactly super warm out, but neither is it freezing! We’re exchanging snowy gray days for rainy gray days. Winter boots are put away for wellies. This winter wasn’t particularly harsh, considering we worked from home, still quarantined because folks think their ability to spread a killer disease supersedes the right to life of others.
Thus, this Spring, Zo isn’t feeling particularly overjoyed this year. She’s somber when she’s not outright pissed off. And, I can’t blame her. Imagine if people had only cooperated for a month, where we would be now: less fatalities (in the hundreds of thousands), less grieving, actual freedom, and an economy that isn’t in a depression. Make no doubt about it! We are all in a depression at this point.
Nothing encapsulates the mood better than Zo in a pair of oversized wellies, soaked by the rain…
