The Trailokya Trilogy Companion is a continuing online manuscript that illustrates and explains some of the details of the story, helping readers to keep things straight while they travel through the series. The companion is alphabetical for reader convenience. In each section, the entries listed in dictionary form along with original artwork and excerpts from the Trailokya Friday blog posts. In the coming weeks and months the blog will feature specific entries, to give you a taste of what is available in the companion.
Ganesha, Lord Councilor. (n.) High Council of Zion. Throne, head of all councils in the councils of Zion; reports to Metatron and The High Council. Ganesha is the final approver on all dharmic paths.
Dharmic paths are one of the main concepts of the trilogy. The purpose of incarnation is to fulfill dharma. Karma informs the dharma. This means that an atman incurs karma (good or bad) and must strike a balance. All of them come from Nirvana with initial karma. This is what sends them to Zion and suggests a need to enter Samsara. Those experiences can cause further imbalance, and thus a need to experience more.
Overseeing these processes are the Alders. The bureaucracy organizes to help atman achieve their goals. Although this may seem confusing or even cruel to those incarnated, it is ultimately the request of the atman. When incarnated, we only know that which we need to know to accomplish the particular dharma laid out for that session. Part of the process includes growing the Bio Interface Machine (BIM), also called the biovessel, (upgrading and installing information along the path). It takes time, but the process works efficiently for the atman, which may burn up the vessel if engaged too quickly. This is not the same as Burning Down.
Burning Down is the process by which an atman declines rather than ascends. The alders seek to prevent this, even in those atman brought from Nirvana with such a process already engaged. Many times, it is unstoppable, as this is the dharmic path of the being. When this occurs, they descend to Jahannam, to either face Oblivion, stagnate, or return (rare).
The atman can be protected further by determining an indirect interface with the BIM. For incarnating duta and ascended souls, this is usually the case. For this, the individual reports to Otzar where cherubim initiate wireless connections to the BIM. Direct interfaces mean that the atman require a dedicated guardian to protect them from dangers they may encounter in Samsara, such as danava interfering in the dharma.
The relationship between Zion, Jahannam, and Samsara is called the Trailokya. The records of all atman who come from Nirvana to interact in the Trailokya are kept in the Library of Akash. These records are regulated by the Alder sect, overseen by the Three Sisters, Lord Ganesha, and the High Council. Guardians who oversee the direct interfaces obtain clearance to fill in information on these records for their assigns.
Lord Ganesha is the supreme alder of Zion. This means he oversees this entire process. His office clears dharmic plans, and ensures the process flows unceasingly. Its is a lot to balance and many in this sect contribute to keep things running.
Ganesha is an ascended duta, meaning he is a throne–one of the highest risings of duta in Zion. Ganesha has chosen to stagnate in Zion at this position in order to assist the atman coming from Nirvana. He will ascend to Nirvana upon completion of this task. He is considered among the wisest, and thus most qualified to oversee the Alders, Otzar, and their Library.
In appearance, Ganesha displays the strain of muse (cherubim) he enjoys alongside the ascended alder (throne). These strains directly influence his outward appearance: great stature topped by the head of a noble elephant, complete with tusks. The supreme alder often interacted with the watchers (a group of guardians employed by the alders to both protect, observe, and inform souls in Samsara). Hence, Earth souls remember him and believe him to be a god.
Ganesha is a gentle individual, although quite powerful. He uses that power to help others. Another trait he is noted for is his silence. He is not one to speak before the correct words have come to him, and many souls have believed him to be mute. Ganesha simply doesn’t waste words, preferring wise reflection.
The supreme alder makes use of two Kapalanum in Zion, the past and present, to complete his tasks and provide the best council. Thus, his institutions house these devices: Akash (past) and Otzar (present). Alders and Watchers may petition to use the devices on behalf of their assigns.
