Welcome back for another installment of The Blue Honor Vlog. Subscribe to my channel on YouTube. As a subscriber, you’ll get episodes of Shagbottom Theater, updates from the blog, and watch the process of making book trailers. And! You’ll be first in line to see it all. Once a video is ready, it’s uploaded, and you don’t have to wait for it to come out on the blog or even in the newsletter. Let’s get started!
2020 sucked! I worry what this new year will bring. We all do. Yet, I want to cover what went well for me, too. It’s important to always find the silver lining, especially for someone like me who can find themselves in a dark place easily. Let me show you how in the video below.
Working hard and focusing on what you can control is a great coping mechanism and one I’ve employed for self-help. Working from home has also afforded me peace of mind from anxiety brought on by being in the presence of others. Those with anxiety will definitely relate! I’ll also talk a bit about how the need to decompress and isolate for self-care is important and not selfish. Although 2020 sucked, we don’t have to suffer if we can help it.
If you have any questions, leave me a comment on the blog, or comment on the YouTube video. I can’t promise that I will directly respond, so if you need care, be sure to reach out to those who can give you the immediate assistance that you need. Be well!
