The Trailokya Trilogy Companion is a continuing online manuscript that illustrates and explains some of the details of the story, helping readers to keep things straight while they travel through the series. Readers can view this live companion book on Wattpad (either using the website or an app for their phone) absolutely free.
The companion is organized in alphabetical sections for convenience. In each section, the entries are organized like a dictionary along with original artwork and excerpts from the Trailokya Friday blog posts. In the coming weeks and months the blog will feature specific entries, to give you a taste of what is available in the companion.
Caer Wydion Galaxy.
The Samsara galaxy in which Earth exists. Humans refer to it as the Milky Way.
As readers will learn while they go through the books, the other peoples have different names for the things that fill the many planes. Why wouldn’t they? If the societies of Earth are any indication, every society that can be found in the text will have unique names for each thing of which they’re aware. I wonder what drago call apples?
Although they have unique terms/names for things, there is going to be consensus on what something is referred to among the united planets (UWOS). It makes things much simpler, considering everyone’s languages have evolved on their own, and common understandings make communication far easier. For instance, outer space is called der All in German. In English, we refer to space as the universe. With so many ways to refer to the same idea, you can see why commonality is so important.
