Food is life. Am I right?
Where do I even start to answer this question? My friends know that I’m nuts about snacks. In fact, I’m nuts about food in general. My blog features a section called Culinary K to feature easy recipes and give cooking tips. Now, junk food isn’t exactly Culinary K grade, but this is definitely up the foodie alley.
I’m not even going to get into introductions or explanations. I’m just going to list the glory.
5. Frankin’ Berry Cereal.
Every year, I seek this Halloween cereal out, and I buy a few boxes to get me through to the next haul. I also like Boo-berry.
4. Dove Dark Chocolate Truffles.
It’s dark chocolate. Anti-oxidants…is it really all that bad?
3. Jax Cheese Curls.
I blame my mom for this. These are her go to.
2. Spicy Nut Mix (any, all, more!).
I add peanuts to the original bag, because that’s what I remember from when I was little.
1. Raspberry Zingers.
I made a cake recently that was inspired by these…I nearly died when Hostess went under.
So we had the option to list healthy foods, too. Although I consider myself a junk connoisseur, I actually eat pretty healthy. In fact, I prefer whole foods to the above list, but we all have our moments when we need the bad stuff. Here is my list of favorite healthy foods.
5. Celery with Peanut Butter
4. Cucumber
3. Almonds
2. Watermelon
1. Honeycrisp Apples
List number two will be my mainstay once I am done breastfeeding my daughter. Until then, I am able to indulge a bit more, and the first list crops up quite a bit.
Let’s hop on over and see which junk or healthy foods made the list for the other authors…

Here in the UK I’ve never seen any of the foods you depict in the first half of your blog, although maybe they’re available in London. I love Golden Delicious apples. I ate so many when I was pregnant that they took some of the enamel off my front teeth!
Oh, wow! I had no idea apples could do that! I ate quite a few while pregnant too. You’re not the first I’ve had tell me about their apple cravings then. I wonder what it is about apples…
I have very limited junk food tastes, so none of yours are on my list. As I explained to PJ, she and I had been avoid being stuck on a desert island together, because we’d fight over the chocolate. But the healthy snacks – yeah, they all made my mouth water.
I always eat healthy, so it’s not a treat for me.
