Using compensation cuts to threaten employees so they can make more money is the epitome of Christmas greed.
This is another wound in the side of workers. Another low committed by the oligarchs who imagine they’re in control. Let’s keep the holidays about family, and not allow these corporations to earn even more money off the backs of their underpaid workers who carry the brunt of the business for the real slackers: the 1%. We all know the business owners will be home that day/night. They need to afford the same luxury to their employees. You can help by also staying home, and not succumbing to deals, which will continue through the Holidays, and after, anyway – getting better and better as you get closer to this retail orgy we’ve come to call Christmas. If you won’t do it for them, do it for yourself. These actions have a way of setting precedence, and you might just find yourself at work on the holidays as well, if you’re not already.
My deepest thanks to emergency workers, essential personnel and those in the military for whom, the holidays are never a day off. Help them have a safe day by staying home.
Let Walden Galleria know how disappointed you are by stopping by their Facebook page. I’ve already blasted them in typical Political K fashion.
