A diverse list introducing important female figures from present to past (I wish the past was more inclusive – where is Cleopatra, et al?) Most of history was written for and by men. Until recently, it wasn’t unheard of to attribute the accomplishments of women to their male kin. This, of course, leads to a lot of strife for historians who aren’t daunted by gender bias and just want to get to the truth.
